Exceeding Targets, the 2022-2025 NTB IPNU Regional Leadership Receives Appreciation at the 10th Regional Conference

Lombok Tengah, Lombok Herald – The leadership of the Regional Executive Board (PW) of the Nahdlatul Ulama Students Association (IPNU) of West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) for the 2022-2025 period under the leadership of Yusril Ihza Mahendra officially concluded with a remarkable record. The accountability report (LPJ) of this leadership was received with high appreciation by all Branch Leaders (PC) at the 10th Regional Conference (Konferwil) held at the VIP Hall of Datok Bagu, Qamarul Huda Bagu Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Central Lombok, on Sunday (20/7/2025).

Over the three-year term, the executive board achieved notable accomplishments by conducting a total of 76 activities. This number significantly exceeded the targets set during the Regional Working Meeting (Rakerwil) held on 28 January 2023 at the Lombok Tengah Regional Parliament Building.

The plenary session for the Accountability Report, led by the Regional Conference Steering Committee (SC) Chairperson, Mahendra Sastra Dinata, proceeded smoothly. All branch leaders from across West Nusa Tenggara present expressed their acceptance with respect and praised the achievements attained.

In his final speech before the executive board was declared dissolved, the Chairman of the NTB IPNU 2022-2025, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, delivered several important messages to all participants of the Regional Conference.

"Whoever is elected in the future, it is an organisational decision that must be accepted by everyone," he began his message.

He also emphasised the importance of unity post-conference. "If there are divisions or differences, unite and eliminate them immediately because we are one. Dynamics are acceptable, but let us not waste excessive energy here because there is still time to leave a lasting legacy," continued the young man from Dusun Sinah, Desa Pengembur.

Finally, he expressed hope that the next leadership would continue the positive legacy that had been built. "Continue the legacy of the PW IPNU NTB for the 2022-2025 term so that NTB remains a magnet of attention for IPNU across the archipelago," he stated.

The speech was met with an emotional response from the attendees, who then proceeded to a group photo session and exchanged handshakes as a sign of farewell.

After the official report was accepted at 5:34 PM WITA, the agenda of the 10th Regional Conference immediately moved on to the next stage: discussing the election procedures for the Chairperson of PW IPNU NTB for the 2025-2028 term.
